Description
The successor to the 2554ci
The TASKalfa MZ2501ci replaces the popular 2554ci in Kyocera’s A3 colour range. Print speed stays at 25 pages per minute, but almost everything around it is new: the machine is ready in under 10 seconds instead of 18, standard storage jumps from 32 GB to 256 GB, and the new toners print more pages per cartridge.
What is new
- Fast start — warm-up in about 9.7 seconds
- Cloud ready out of the box — Kyocera Cloud Print and Scan, Cloud Capture, Microsoft Universal Print, AirPrint and Mopria
- AI-assisted scanning — handwriting enhancement, super-resolution for low-quality originals and smarter document processing
- Stronger security — AES-256 / FIPS 140-3 encryption, TLS 1.3, SMB 3.1.1, HCD-PP and IEEE 2600 certification
- 10.1-inch colour touch panel and 4 GB memory
Lower running cost
| Consumable | Model | Yield |
|---|---|---|
| Black toner | TK-8467K | 30,000 pages |
| Cyan / Magenta / Yellow toner | TK-8467C / M / Y | 20,000 pages each |
| Waste toner bottle | WT-8500 | — |
| Maintenance kit | MK-8345E | — |
That is 30,000 black pages against 25,000 on the 2554ci, and 20,000 colour pages against 12,000.
